I search for you as the day begins,

Kneeling down, I pray for a day full of grace

Day after day, I seek for your mercy

calling your name and asking for your gaze

Throughout the constant changes in my ordinary life

I raise my arms to you to reach you with my voice

Past and future struggles are part of my plea

Nudging me in silence in the direction of my dreams

I believe no leaf falls without your consent

The air, the oceans, and all beings are part of your domain

I know you are there even when I walk on scorching rocks

As trials pierce my hopes, my faith and will are tested

But resisting the urge to fall is where I feel you the most

I believe in you because I have seen your work

When joy or sorrow followed me home

You have been with me in the quiet and the noise

Hearing your voice in the echoes of my soul

A constant companion guiding me from the beyond

I know you are there even in my darkest hours

The torch of hope lighting the way

Even when afraid, I feel your love

shredding enemies to ashes with a whisper.

Moving oceans and mountains in my name.

Giving me peace when invaded with fear and doubt

When the burden is great you carry me home

You lead the way and open doors

Shutting them close when I need to turn

As I end my day, I kneel and I pray

For the many miracles you sent my way.

Removing boulders and deep abyss,
